Did you get a bad hair cut? Was it your fault?
Well, you must first ask yourself if you made clear what type of hair cut  you were going for. A lot of times, people think that when they are explaining a style or hair cut, the hair stylist understands them completely. But as you know now that's not always the case. Your best bet when choosing a hair style or a new hair cut, is to bring a picture with you. If the stylist seems hesitant or unsure of what you want then leave or ask for just a wash and style.

What to do next?
It seems that the country has gone sue crazy. Although you could take this set of action, make yourself the better person. Talk to the Stylist first.  If she/he seems unreasonable and uncaring about the the bad hair cut, take the next best action. Talk to the manager. Explain what happened and what you would like to happen. Whether it is a refund or having the Stylist fired, a very unlikely thing to happen, keep your cool. If you go crazy, ranting and raving, causing havoc, you most likely won't get anything but the privilege of wearing a hat for a month or so.

Was it her/his fault?
Stylists are like regular people, we all have bad days and sometimes we're not on the ball. However, this is no excuse. It's the Stylist's responsibility to do the job correctly. But you must keep in mind that the hair style you choose, looks different on everybody and every Stylist cuts hair differently. If your hair is uneven, or totally out of the park of what you wanted then it is her/his fault.
