Tomato Mask
Ingredients: 1/4 of a tomato mashed and deseeded, 3 tsps. of plain yogurt, 1 tsp mashed cucumber, 1 tsp aloe gel, 3 tsp Oatmeal , 2 mint leaves (crushed).
Directions: Mix ingredients, apply to face and leave on for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Tomatoes contain a high acidic level that is great when treating acne. Also used for mini facial peels. Gentle yet very effective!

What's Hot for Prom 2008
Beautiful styles prom updos are back this year! Last year we saw a huge drop in the Updo appointments. Most gals were opting do wear their hair straight and do it themselves. Well not this year! Updo appointments are up 400% in our salon already! And there's still a month or 2 to go.
This years hottest prom hairstyles.... Long, cascading, big full waves and texture. Celebrity hair as we call it. Half up or all down. Lots are adding raised "bumps" in the front of the styles. Updos are soft with loads and loads of volume and curls. Not the tight pinned curls, but loosely pulled up. Lots of side bangs left out. Hair jewels and accessories are also all the rage. The more sparkle and glamour the better. Keep your prom hair big, soft and sexy and you're good to go!

Strawberry Mask
Ingredients: 8-9 strawberries, 3 tablespoons honey
Directions: Mash strawberries into a pulp, add honey. Mix. Do not over blend. Apply directly to the skin, let sit for a few minutes then rinse off.
Strawberries contain several polyphenols that have high antioxidant capacity. They are also high in Vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acid, which helps slough off dead skin cells.
