In Makeup Makeovers: Expert Secrets for Stunning Transformations,  Robert Jones states  "To master the art of color application, it's helpful to understand how the shape and spacing of the eyes can determine the placement of color and the effect it creates." HOME > MAKE UP >> Eye shapes, change your eye shape with makeup
deep-set eyes
To bring deep set eyes forward, apply a light to medium eyeshadow from lid to brow bone, use eyeliner on upper lids and use mascara on top lashes only. Apply highlight to brow bone area to bring light in. When tweezing brows, enlarge the space between the eyes and brows, raise the brows slightly by penciling in a little above the bone.
wide-set eyes
To bring eyes closer together, emphasizing the inner corner will make eyes by feathering makeup slightly towards the nose.  Pencil eyebrows a little closer to the nose, and do not extend them out at the ends
round eyes
To make round eye appear more almond-shaped, use light-toned eyeshadow all over top lid, darker in entire crease. Line top and bottom lid, extend eyeliner out and up at end. Mascara for top lashes only, more on outer half. Also, keep a high arch when tweezing the brow.
close-set eyes
Close-set eyes are often due to a slender nose. To create the illusion of width, apply color wide. Start eyeshadow well away from eye's inner corner blending up and out with darkest eyeshadow shade at outer limits creating a vertical V ">". Keep inner eye lids a light shade and also consider dabbing a very small highlight color on the inner corner of the eye. You can also add a bit of highlight shadow directly next to the inner eye, next to the nose. Widen the space between the brows a little by plucking, and extend the brow with a brow pencil line at the ends.
almond-shaped eyes
3 eyeshadow tones can widen the eye and make the eyelid seem bigger. Apply lighter shade of shadow from lash to brow. Medium shade on lid. Dark shadow on outer third of lid. Generous coats of mascara for lashes, comb well.
