What are makeup primers and what do a primer do for my makeup application?
Foundation primers are just that. A makeup Primer gets your face ready for your  makeup. Primers can take the place of moisturizers. They'll even out skin tone, help your makeup stay on longer and primers will absorb oil.

When do I use a Primer?
Apply primer after moisturizer, if moisturizer is still needed, and right before you start with any makeup.

What's the difference between Eyeshadow primers and Face Primers?
There are 2 types of makeup primers. Facial and ones made specially for the eye area. Facial primers, create a blank, smooth oil free canvas for makeup to stick to.
